15" "Teddy's Bear" Limited Edition This bear was produced to mark 100 years of the Teddy Bear and it was originally one of a pair of bears (with a 19" Brown Musical Bear and a felt copy of the Washington Post. ) This wonderful bear is a very good image of the one that appeared in cartoons after President Teddy Roosevelt refused to shoot the young bear that was tied with a rope to a tree. |

Milly is a wonderful Merrythought Bear with close cropped Mohair ( like bottle brush) and a CE Mark making her suitable for children. She is 14cms, 5.5 inches, light beige in colour and with a pink ribbon and a cute pointed nose. She is from the early 1990s but in perfect condition and 5-way jointed. With side and Foot label pre-wishbone she is a must have for your collection.
