Chiltern Musical Lamb

This very sweet old 1950s musical lamb has glass eyes and the most adorable half seated stance.(leaning back on the tail)
It is 11"/28cms tall and approx 11"/28cms long (with tail down) It has been well used but retains 95% coverage of very short mohair. The music box is working and plays Brahms lullaby. The mechanism is in its back and is reinforced by heavy screws and the winder is under the tail.The tail has been rejoined. There is a faded sewn Chiltern label under the body. It is a nursery shelf or collectors item only. |

Sweet little Steiff Macki and Mucki vinyl hedgehog pair from 1960s both 4.5 inches/ 12 cms high.
Both toys have chest tags only,and are in very good condition for their age right down to the blue ink stains on the girl's apron which are all part of the original Steiff design. These come from a film copyright Diehl-Film,The little girl has “copyright Diehl film “ printed on her chest tag). |
